St. Louis

“The Gateway to the West” is a fitting name for the city of St. Louis. Situated roughly halfway along the Mississippi River from its source at Lake Itasca in Minnesota to its mouth in Louisiana, St. Louis truly represents the mighty river that supplies a large swath of the United States with fertile farmland. The Gateway Arch stands as one of the most iconic man made monuments in the country, but is certainly not the only thing to visit on your trip to St. Louis. Be sure to check out the Missouri Botanical Garden, the St. Louis Zoo, the City Museum, The Cathedral Basilica of St. Louis, the St. Louis Art Museum, Forest Park, The Magic House and the Saint Louis Science Center.
